Thanks for nothing

This is one of my favourite songs. When I like a song, it's either because I can identify with the message, or just because it sounds good. Like Thank You here, it's just like someone extracts my thoughts and put them on a speaker, thanks to MKTO, they make them heard through every speaker, in cars, in houses, everywhere in the world. That's how strong I view a good song.

The song is obviously about the left-outs or whom society prefers to call losers, those who don't or can't fill the expectations cast by society onto them. The song tells that they, or rather we, are okay with that. We don't mind. We admit we are left behind so we let the bright, the 'most likely to succeeds' to go ahead and be the big players in society.

Just don't screw up because when they do, society will take the fall. They will roll behind the sloppy hill and pretty soon they will reach the point where they left us behind long ago, and I'm not sure we like it crowded.
