A report I read recently said that by 2020 (that's only 8 years away), a Malaysian will have to garner RM12k monthly to own a house. Bloody hell. I'm in prospect for a job at 2015 (the soonest), and by that time me still a freshie can only rake up the max maybe RM6k a month. But that is of course all work and no play plus a little bit of moonlighting.

Then I did some more research. And God, a single storey terrace in Kelana Jaya cost RM400+k! I currently live around the vicinity so I can say I know the house's condition well and from the looks of it, I thought it just cost RM100+k the most.

Suddenly there's wise in my plan of serving in rural areas. Low cost of living, less urban problems, and closer to mother nature. Where living a healthy lifestyle doesn't cost you a fortune.

It's gonna be tough but then life is a struggle, quoting a tuition Cikgu from my school days.
