Long live the king

So tomorrow is a big day for Malaysians and The Reds among them.

This is a possible stepping stone for both Cardiff and Liverpool who have in common a long rich history in English football but apparently fail to perpetuate the past glory.

Just so you know, as a Malaysian, I love and commend the way Dato TG brand his club Cardiff. Seriously, not many people would emblazon the name of their country on their football team's jersey. What more if the FC is from a foreign country.

However as possible as it may be, that is because the club hasn't found a sponsor yet. "So instead of leaving the jersey plain blank, why don't we put up 'Malaysia' and garner instant support and publicity from my fellow countrymen?", said Dato' TG maybe.

Does it work on me? Well, I have to be honest. The owner may be Malaysian, but that doesn't change a fact that the club is not associated to me at all. I don't have a share, don't come from Cardiff, and honestly never gave a damn about the club. Heck, I don't know even a chap in the squad.

Hence makes me supporting the club hypocritical.

#YNWA.
